Undoubtedly, the advent of technology since years have brought up new inventions in humankind.The most recent and popularized innovational project that has been set up by different people and groups is the ‘Social Media’ which has taken up the communicating & Socializing activities to a very different level.Today Social Media is no less than one of the surviving element for existence of a common human.
There has been a wide range of debates and discussions over how social media after having too much of positive advancement can be perceived by teenagers in a frivolous manner.So here is an article although may not be statically defined,but about the perception of today’s teenager towards social media.

Being born and brought up in a nation where technology has started taking a leap only in last few decades,we have seen a transformation in the lives and style of people.Not only in the urban cities,the rural cities have also shown up a lot of development through the use of social media.Rural & isolated places, where the most ancient form of communication was Telegram & Postal services have now been developed into a fast and easy socializing media through the advent of Internet.
We have witnessed a variety of applications and sites which gives a very reliant,speedy and lucid way of socializing with the world today.To name a few,the most popular medium through which socialization has taken a unique shape are:-

Apart from all the negative remarks and debates put forward by various people at different points of times,social media yet has done a spectacular job in connecting the world and its people.The positive aspects of social media are so relevant that can’t be denied when it comes to the various features of today’s social media.

Few Positive Aspects of Social Media Which Are Not Apparent To The Larger Audience/Viewers.

1)Apart from the whole communicating process that has become possible through social media, there are few spaces which has build up an entire network of those people having similar thinking or interest.

2)Today’s Politics plays a pivotal role in shaping up the form and foundation of a nation.Today’s political parties do come up on these social sites for expressing their agendas making their campaign a virtual one.Also today’s youth is grabbing more and more political awareness through these social media.

3)Social media has helped a lot in building up identities of different social groups which were not acknowledged since the very beginning of human existence.For instance,Social Media has played a vital role in fighting for the equalities of LGBT Community.

a. Grinder was the first gay geo social mobile app after which an initiative called ‘Grinder for equality’ was started which fought for equality of these LGBT Community.Whisper app was also a very innovative messenger that came into existence which gives respect to anonymity, since these socially neglected people wanted their privacy to remain confidential.
b. Many LGBT civil rights groups are active on social media,such as Human Rights Campaign and International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission. Social Media plays encourages such endeavors’ by allowing these distinctive groups to flourish through these different social networking sites and apps.

So beyond all the clichés Social Media is indeed playing a significant role in developing the humankind.
