India Of tomorrow- Part 2

India Of tomorrow- Part 2

Steps to fully utilize nature’s gifts- the resources India has in abundance should be used judiciously in a manner that optimizes their benefits. Taking water only as an example, we see people mindlessly polluting and wasting it. The purity of India’s water resources is deteriorating at an alarmingly high rate. The world has shown advancements in all fields, one such could be applied to use our resources judiciously. India’s geographical positioning has given it the advantage of making full use of solar and wind energy which will not only take care of the country’s energy problems but will also help facilitate economic growth which indeed is the need of the hour. The burden that Indian farmers have to face every year can be reduced drastically if we simply follow the practice of Rainwater harvesting. Furthermore, we at a very basic level can invest a little more in our houses to instal solar panels which in turn will take care of our electricity problems.

While it is easy to hold tight to the utopian vision the citizens of this country have in their hearts and criticize the working of the present day government, what we most often neglect is their achievements. India has come a long way since its fight against colonialism and for it to stand as the 10th largest economy in the world in terms of GDP speaks volumes. So it’s time we stop playing the blame game and play our part in the growth of Bharat Mata! You yourself as the citizen of this country have it in you to make a huge difference in its making. It is in your hands now to make the India of your dreams!

India has to be transformed into a developed nation, a prosperous nation and a healthy nation, with a value system. – A.P.J Abdul Kalam
