UIDAI-Aadhaar A Solution of Identification & Verification

We require proof for various purposes such as loan ,opening a bank account and for other government facility. There is a difficulty for both who want to establish his identityΒ  and the agency to verify his Identity. The government has focused on increasing disbursement of money in various social schemes, in order to target poor and under-privileged sections of the society in the hope that they should be the stakeholder in the economic growth of the country.

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)Β  was notified by Planning Commission (now changed to Niti Aayog ) on 28th Jan. 2009 with a least of 115 officials. It is a regulatory authority managing a central identities data repository(CIDR). It offers a strong form for authentication, from where an agency government or private can compare demographic and demographic information of the resident theyΒ  recorded, with the record stored in the Central Database of the UIDAI. The UIDAI may authenticate by proving yes or no.

It is due to technology and Internet. UIDAI through enrollment registrar and enrollment agencies captures demographic and biometric data of a resident and generate Aadhaar, a unique number.

It is Provided to a resident after collecting and verifying their demographic and biometric information that facilitates as a proof of Identity than other document.

It keeps us safe from fraud. It helps from multiple level of verifications, that saves our time , money and efforts.

Biometric verification is an excellent solution to the problem of verifying Identity of a person. Aadhaar is a randomly generated 12 digit number for every resident of India. It is a document of resident not of citizenship is not mandatory but desirable.

I feel that introduction of such a card has greatly helped the citizens of India and also the institutions. Now there is greater transparency and low level of corruption.

It must have attached DNA too. If everyone creates an AADHAR CARD then there wont be any missing links in criminal cases. Just get the fingerprint and match it with the AADHAR database.
