Staff Selection commission (SSC) invites application for the posts of Stenographer in All India.
Interested candidates for the post of Stenographer are required to suit to the following criteria:
Age: The age of the candidates applying for the position of Stenographer Grade “C” and “D” should not less than 18 years and should not more than 27 years as on 1st August 2015.
Qualification: The candidates applying for the position of Stenographer Grade “C” and “D” should have passed +2 class standard or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Pay Scale: Not mentioned
Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available with SSC for the post of Stenographer is 1064 .
Selection criteria: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their written Examination and Skill test in Stenography.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 10 years for candidates belonging to PH communities.
Application Fee: Candidates applying for the position of Stenographer Grade “C” and “D” are required to pay application fee Rs 100/- b means of “Central recruitment fee stamps (CRFS) or candidates should pay the requisite fee online through net-banking / credits card or debit card or cash through SBI bank Challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC / ST and EXSM eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Following is the application procedure: Interested and eligible candidates applying for the position of Stenographer Grade “C” and “D” may apply online through SSC website http://ssconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php from 8th August 2015 to 4th September 2015 (part I) and up to 7th September 2015 for (Part II) or candidates may also send prescribed application form relevant regional Centre of SSC as per official notification on or before 7th September 2015.
Please note down the last date to apply i.e. 7th September 2015.
