Indian Coast Guard invites application for the posts of Navik (Domestic Branch) in All India.

Interested candidates for the post of Navik (Domestic Branch) are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidates applying for the position of Navik (Domestic Branch) should not less than 18 years and should not more than 22 years (i.e. between 01^st April 1994 to 31^st March 1998).

Qualification: The candidates applying for the position of Navik (Domestic Branch) should have 10^th class with 50% marks in aggregate from board of Education recognized by Central / State government.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20200/- Per Month.

Selection criteria: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their written Examination followed by Physical fitness Test (PFT) and initial medical examination and Personal Interview

Relaxation of Percentage: Candidates applying for the position of Navik (Domestic Branch) should have 5% relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for out-standing sports person of National level who have obtained 1^st / 2^nd or 3^rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Champion-ship / Inter-state national champion-ship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personal deceased while in service.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Following is the application procedure: Interested and eligible candidates applying for the position of Navik (Domestic Branch) may apply in prescribed application form along with copies (not returnable) of 10^th class marks sheets and pass certificate / community certificate / caste certificate (Schedule caste SC / Schedule tribe ST / Other backward class OBC as per government of India format) age proof / domicile / sports certificate attested by Gazette officer / one recent passport size photograph (Not older than one month) and a self-addressed (Un-stamped) envelope of size 22 x 10 cm send by ordinary post only to relevant zone as per official notification on or before 17^th August 2015.
