NPC Recruitment 2015

National Productivity Council (NPC) invites application for the posts of Examiner of patents and design for CGPDTM(The controller general of patents / design and trademark) in New Delhi.

Interested candidates for the post of Examiner of patents and design for CGPDTM are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidate applying for the position of Examiner of patents and design for CGPDTM should not less than 21 years and should not more than 35 years as on 1^st August 2015.

Qualification: The candidates applying for the position of Examiner of patents and design for CGPDTM should have Master degree in chemistry / bio-chemistry / polymer science / Physics / biotechnology / micro biology OR Bachelor degree in Bio-medical / Food technology / computer engineering / information technology / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Mechanical / Civil / Metallurgical / Textile engineering / technology or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100/- Per Month.

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available with NPC for the post of Examiner of patents and design for CGPDTM is 459.

Selection criteria: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the three successive stages (i) preliminary examination (ii) main written examination.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 10 years for candidates belonging to PWD communities.

Fees Structure: Candidates applying for the position of Examiner of patents and design for CGPDTM are required to pay application fee Rs 200/- for General / OBC category candidates either by using Net banking or by using visa card / master card / credit card only. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH / women candidates of any community are exempted from application fee.
