Survivor was rushed to the near by hospital and now taken to the refuge at a school with her husband and two children who managed to escape unhurt. “It is like i am in a different world” said Sunita Siloula.

An assistant of NDRF said “we got the information that a lady is trapped under the wreck of this five story building. We started the rescue operation as fast as possible, we also had the information she is trapped between two slabs which may have kept her alive. First we stablished the area and provided her some life saving medicines and took her out.”

Still there are many more people trapped under many such buildings in Kathmandu Valley and many mountainous areas which are still unexplored and affected badly.

NDRF rescuers and Indian Air force personnel are searching the areas which are beyond Kathmandu Valley near Pokhara, those areas are still unexplored and help is needed. There are about 16 teams of NDRF in Nepal out of which 10 are already engaged in the rescue operation there for past few days.

The NDRF rescuers are currently present near these areas like Tanu Hospital, Balajutra, Balkhu, Goodbal, Brijeshwari, Chavmati, Vasundranmunatal, Maharajgunj, Gangabhu and Shobha Bhagwati Bridge.
