Every Year on 1st May will be remembered as International Labour Day/Wokers Day/ May Day. It marks to pin point the issue related Labour welfare, Minimum wages regulation, Training and Development, Safety issues and Industrial Psychology.

In Our Indian Constitution, subject of ‘Labour’ is in list concurrent subject, due to which central role has higher responsibility to regulate the rules related to labour policy and framework. As 44-Central and 100-states labour laws are regulated in our country, but there is need to establish the dignity of labour work, to bringing transparency and accountability in the enforcement of Labour Laws &policies and to promote of workers’ welfare through good governance to reiterate with spirit of ‘Saabka Saath, Saabka Vikas’.

In order to set the target of higher GDP growth, the labour issue are needed to develop as accustom ease of manufacturing policy framework. The labour are part of our service sector that consitutes 55% to our national economy. Therefore uplifting economy with addressing Skilled Development initiatives, Better Standards of Workers Safety and Welfare policies, social security with combat with forced and child labour.

Currently New Government addressing the issues of labour with good governance initiative adapting effective IT strategy underlying the initiative of Digital India. A unified Web Portal ‘Shram SuvidhaPortal’ launched to single Online return system with an issue of Unique labour identification number (LIN), to meet social security  Universal Account Number(UAN) issued for full EPF benefits to organized sector worker and Unorganized workers will be identified and registered their Adhaar & Bank Account details to ensure the Unorganized Social Security Act benefits.

Although, India is Young Country with 65% of its population belongs to Working age category. A healthy Tripartite consultation and spirit to be noted. An Ensuring Industrial Peace, harmony and Security with meeting goals of Employment and Employ-ability to tune with Industrial growth and development.
