Job interviews are possibly the most important opportunity to exhibit one’s personality traits and soft skills. From the moment a candidate walks in for an interview, a candidate’s personality is under observation by the employer. The selection of a candidate depends to a great degree not just on the hard technical skills but increasingly on soft qualities exhibited during the interview. This includes the examples chosen by the candidates to bring out their strengths and weaknesses, the proactiveness shown by them and the approach of the candidate are all determinants of the personality and play a critical role in the selection process.
