Now a day’s recruitment in IT sector is a big challenge. IT sector is growing so rapidly. In this challenge main thing to get notice is the updates of software. For doing job in big mnc and domestic companies, most of the students from IT and Non IT background are making interest in IT sectors. The HR personals that are responsible for doing the recruitment are facing more challenge as well as problems while performing the task. We will see below what are the challenges one HR will face while making recruitment:

1. Most common challenge is to understand the job role. Because as the technology is growing and every day there are new updates so one HR person must be updated with the change. So that he/she can able to make good recruitment process. For example we can say, one company needs a person who can able to work in PHP. So the HR must get overall knowledge about php before taking interview. And suppose he/she took the interview and after taking interview he placed the candidate to the allocated job. Now problems come without knock. That is the candidate can able to work in Windows platform but the work done in the company is in Unix platform. So it is again a challenging and a risky for the company as well as the HR person too. So there are many cases where it happens, so HR person should have sound technical knowledge before recruitment. That is why in many companies there is a provision of group meeting so that they can able to collect information from the team.

2. Second thing is now many companies are looking for automation process. So for which they are using automated tools. Like we can take some software tools: online recruitment management system, employee database management system, etc. So HR person have to learn these tools as per the business needs.

3. It a big opportunity in IT sector that to get good and right employee for the right position. So that the job can be done is a better way. In present time everyone in the world getting IT literacy, so that they can able to adopt the IT related work easily. So one HR person can choose the best for the job.

4. Job designing is also one important part in IT sector. If on HR person can able to know the current technology and the project requirements so that he/she can able to design the project as per the industry standard, and it helps the company to monitor the process and get updates from the employees.

5. The final challenge is to give information to the employees and the candidates. Sometime it happens that the HR person must have to give information about the company’s products and the software uses. At that time he/she must have to take care of the candidate to ensure about the job responsibility. Just for example, if the candidate have experience in sql. And the job is on a tool like ms access. So HR person must have to give all information about the ms access and what the candidate have to do with it after joining to the company.

So this is how IT Recruitment is playing more challenging role in software industries. It must be happened that one right candidate should place in a right place so that the organization can give more productivity.
