Human Life value : Money is second to none

Human Life value Money is second to none

Human life has an inconceivable amount of value that is challenging to evaluate, even more difficult to compete with and impossible to replace. During any natural disaster, loss of human life is the most tragic loss. Not only does it have sentimental aspect to it but monetarily, it’s of utmost importance.

EVALUATION:

Although the evaluationย of HLV (Human Life Value) is a complicated process, it contains some fairly basic components that are easily fathomed. Like a family’s sole bread earner has much more HLV than a new born child. Though a new born child has high sentimental value. Some basic factors include income, financial status, family status, family position, educational qualifications etc.

PRIORITIZATION:

For a person, he, himself, holds the most HLV. Then comes prioritization based on relationships, bonds and logic. In insurance world, for example, you can only insure people you have monetary relationships with. You can insure your spouse, partner, even your debtor and creditor but not your siblings. Strange but true. That’s why big firms are now indulging into Key person insurance. It’s the insurance cover for the indispensable employees of the firm, without whom the companies might suffer loss.

The world these days runs on and for money, emotions come second.
