DU BMS CET 2015- Delhi University Bachelor of Management Studies Common Entrance Test is commonly known as DU BMS CET 2015. It is an entrance exam for admission to all 6 colleges, at the University of Delhi (DU), offering Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) Course.

The 6 colleges offering DU BMS programmes are :

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies

Keshav Mahavidyalaya

Maharaja Agrasen College

College of Vocational Studies and

B R Ambedkar College.

>> The total number of seats offered is 840.

The candidates, who are interested in taking DU BMS CET 2015are required to fulfill the following DU BMS CET 2015 Eligibility Criteria,

  1. The candidate is required to have passed/appeared in Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.
  2. Percentage of marks required for different categories in class XII are as follows;
  3. General/OBC: At least 60%, SC/ST: At least 50%, CW/PWD: At least 54%,

Note: The eligibility criteria vary according to courses offered by the various colleges under the University of Delhi which conduct their admission through DU BMS CET.

 

Exam pattern

As per the DU BMS CET 2015 Exam Patter,the duration of the exam is of two hours and the DU BMS CET is an objective type test. The candidates have to answer 100 multiple choice questions within the time limit. There are 4 sections in the exam, namely Quantitative Ability, Reasoning & Analytical Ability, General English and Business & General Awareness. Each correct question carries 3 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. The total marks of the exam is 300.

 

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of DU BMS CET 2015 is based on 2 factors: performance in the entrance exam and merit. Each factor will be given 50% weightage.

 

Application procedure

  >> The aspirants who wish to pursue Bachelor of Management Study from the University of Delhi need to visit official website and fill in the forms online. The candidates must pay the  application fee of  Rs. 500 for general and OBC category, and Rs.250 for SC/ST/PWD.
