D for Development

D for Development

In a world where you miss a million things at every blink, keeping up with the pace is not a cake walk. And if you have a company to run, you’re in for a long haul of “Keeping Up With the Market”. You cut a slack for a few days and you see a completely new fad in the market and are left clueless.

Development is an important aspect of managing the human resources, thus the term – HRD. It’s not a new but a key concept. Every company needs to explore, analyse, understand, implement and evolve the market trends of human resources.

Development is not just limited to progression, it’s also internal. The existing HR needs to be updated regularly to compete aggressively in the ever growing arcade. They need to know how they can help in their individual as well as company’s development.

This requires a horizontal (at the same level) as well as a vertical (at different levels/posts) engagement. People need to apprise their colleagues in the same unit or co-workers in separate sections. HR needs interdepartmental expertise from marketing, finance sectors etc.  At the same time, senior members of the firm need to fill in their juniors and sub-ordinates on the latest in the economy.

Working hand in hand has always resulted in a better future.
