Twitter buy Indian mobile marketing  company. ZipDial is the First Indian Mobile Marketing Startup which is acquired by  Twitter.  The Deal value was mentioned in the official tweet on Tuesday morning which states that Twitter acruired ZipDial for around Rs.215 Crore.

ZipDial was set up in 2010 by CEO Wagoner,COO Pathak and Chairman Swamy. COO Pathak is an alumni of IIM Calcutta and IIT Kanpur. The founders were very happy with the deal with Twitter.

WHAT DOES ZIPDIAL DEAL IN?

They leveraged the ubiquitous behavior of people and applied it in an Offline Mode. It turned out in “Missed Calls” . By designing this ZipDial Platform.  They have achieved more than 60 users and more than a billion connection.

Future Plans of ZipDial

Members of ZipDial including the Founders Wagoner,Pathak and Swamy are very excited to work with Twitter. They have stated that their new primary goal is to make Twitter’s unique and great content which would be accessible to 100% of the Mobile users globally. The platform  were users mostly by  Asian countries which includes maximum proportion of Indian Users. Now, They will try to reach globally with Twitter. According to the official news’ The product would still be same of Missed Calls.
