Time Management

Time Management

Oh god, so much work to do. I have to rush there. Oh shit I forgot to do that. Oh my god, I have to call him. Yes yes these are our reaction of day to day busy life.

Really don’t we have a time ? Or we are just rushing towards one thing to another. Time management refers to the way that how much time you spend on specific activities. Set your priorities. Try to understand the difference between what is important or what is urgent ? Urgent tasks demand your immediate attention but giving that attention may or may not matter.

Important tasks matter and not doing them result in serious trouble.

There is an analysis in business management which we call ABC Analysis that has been used in categorization of large data in small groups. These groups are marked with A, B and C

A: takes urgent and important work.

B: takes important but not urgent work.

C: takes unimportant , urgent does not matter.

Each groups priority depends upon the individual. Some people choose B over A and C and some A over B and C.

People should divide the big task into smaller tasks and then complete them. Make your to-do list and prioritize your work. Everyone has 24 hours in a day, that are enough to complete all activities. There are two types of time one is clock time and the other one real time. Clock time is like 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute, 7 days in a week and 365 days in a year.

The real time is when you are having fun and not aware about the surrounding. Real time is created by you. And what you create, you can manage. There is a saying that

The bad news is “Time flies”.

The good news is “you’re the pilot”.

You have two option either you run the day or day runs you. Life puts so many choices in front of us. It depends on us that what do we want to follow ? Do you want what appears in your way or what you want yo do in your life? Choice is yours. Don’t procrastinate the things. Don’t compare your life with others. If they are managing everything on time that’s all because of effective time management. Give some time to yourself. Before starting a day, make a list and then start to work on it. This is an old adage,

” your future is created by what you do today not tomorrow.”

Time management will help you to utilize your maximum time without taking stress. Don’t lose confidence. Yes, you can do it. Focus on your set target and then you are half way there. You can achieve what you want because of effective time management.
