Age Limit:- The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years on 1stJanuary 2015.
Qualification:- Candidates should have minimum Educational required passed Degree Examination or on equivalent examination from a recognized University. Basic Computer Knowledge in windows and MS-office from a recognized Institute. Candidate having National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI in Assam by the National Council for vocational trade after 1st August 1975 and Diploma in Stenography from Government recognized Polytechnic may also apply to this post.
Selection Procedure:- Selection will be on the basis of Dictation for five minutes at 80 (Eighty) words per minute for English and languages (Assamese / Bengali / Hindi) as the case may be and transcription thereof and Composition: only those candidate who qualify in dictation test shall be called for composition Test.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
