Job Description:- Mumbai Port Trust invites application for the post of 8 Pilot and Marine Engineer. Invites applications from SC /ST / OBC candidates for 5 Posts of Pilot on regular or contract basis and also for 1 post of Marine Engineer (reserved for SC) on regular / Contract basis and for 2 posts of Marine Engineer (reservation 1-ST and 1-OBC) on contract basis.

Pilot:-05 Posts
- Qualification:-candidate must have certificate of competency as master of foreign going shipping, government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the ministry of shipping, government of India.
- Experience:-Candidate should have one year post qualification experience as Master Chief Officer of a foreign going ship
- Pay Scale:-Rs 57500/- Per Month
- Age Limit:-The age of the candidate should not be exceed 40 years.
Marine Engineer:-03 Posts
- Qualification:-candidate must have MOT I class certificate issued under Merchant shipping Act, 1958.
- Experience:-Candidate should have one year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
- Pay Scale:-Rs 75000/- Per Month
- Age Limit:-The age of the candidate should not be exceed 40 years.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
