Modinomics  Make In India

On the 25th September 2014, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi , launched his flagship ‘Make In India’ campaign to put the country prominently on the global manufacturing map and in turn facilitate the inflow of new technology and capital while creating employment for over 10 million people, thus transforming India into a global manufacturing hub .

This initiative being coined by our Prime Minister after the successful accomplishment of the Mars mission, has its mascot, a tiger made up with bolts , nuts and heavy machinery all rotating in commotion as revealed in the Republic Day parade on 26th January 2015 .

As elaborated, the majorย  objective behind the initiative is to focus on 25 sectors of the economy for job creation and skill enhancement with theย  motive of making it 100% globalised . The big daddies of global market and other hot shot companies like Walmart etc are vacillating towards India indeed increasing job opportunities, profitability all summing up to an increase in economic growth rate as expected by India to be 7.4% in the near future .

Thus it is hoped that the inflow of more and more capital and investment will result in development of industrial sector by strengthening a big chunk of Indian population, the youth .
