Increasing Frustration over Earthquake Relief Efforts- Nepal

With many of the earthquake hit villages in Nepal yet remain any assistance, the frustration of the masses is growing. As per the news, the earthquake survivors have neither received medicine nor food yet. There is an appeal by the UN for $415 m to provide help to these unfortunate masses for the next 3 months.

Officially, the quake on Saturday had killed around 5000 people while 11,000 were wounded. However, rescue team has been working to their best. A teenage boy has recently been rescued. The boy was trapped for 5 days under the rubble.

More than 8 million people have been affected the quake with a magnitude as high as 7.8. Around 70,000 houses have been destroyed as well.

As per the reports in some parts the bodies and building are left untouched. These areas in the north east have no aid  from the Government or other agencies. However, the help could easily be brought in either by road or by air.
