Fancy titles An HR Team tactic to attract youth

Just completed your graduation? Looking for jobs? Bored with old, traditional and not-so-cool job titles? Well! The job market has something amazing to offer to you which would leave you spellbound.

First of all, welcome newly graduated youths to this jobs market. Here, you will find a variety of jobs to work upon, accompanied with fancy titles that you might not have hard before!Earlier the job titles indicated the position of an individual in an organisation but now people have come out of their old school of thought with HR teams began using extremely different and interesting job titles to attract employment. Finding it hard to believe? Well, it’s no fiction but a reality.

The HR team of many organizations has initiated many out-of-the box strategies to attract youths. One of the coolest ways that they have inculcated in their plans is giving cool, fancy and at times quirky designations to their job profiles. Fancy titles is mostly widely used as a Sales and marketing tool that not only impacts the recruiting but also expands sales production of the firm.We , the youth, find ourselves attracted to such names as by the nomenclature, these jobs sound fun and creative. Designations like ‘Chief Geek Officers’, ‘Dream catchers’, ‘Gold Miners’ and even ‘Heads of Fire Fighting’ are widely been used in many firms lately.

The “coining of the jobs” strategies is an age-old technique, widely been used in late 90s but this technique came into use now in 2015. Now, in the year 2015,the number of firms offering jobs are amazingly huge and each firm desires to keep the best of the best people in their organizations. No firm wants to select employees from the leftover bunch with little talents. The HR team, each year, comes up with innovative methodologies to attract people into their organization. And this year, the most widely used technique is “Fancy titles.” This is especially common among startups which are doing exceptionally well in their respective fields.

However, the fancy job titles coming up today tend to become outdated in the coming years or may tend to lose its impact in the market in future. This is one of the major drawbacks of adopting such strategies. Among other shortcomings to follow, many people would find themselves inclined to traditional job titles which sound much of a responsibility and value in the market. Just understand this; being called a PR Head sounds much like an authoritative job as compared to say, Social Birds/ Chief Tweeting Officer.

Well it’s just a beginning! Let’s see what comes up in future and what the fate of such strategies is.
