Who is not excited for the first salary, but imagine if you don’t know what are the terms in your payslip?

Starting with, your payslip will include four terms namely:

Basic pay is generally fixed amount which is around 30 to 40% of your salary.

Variable pay will be consisting of your allowances, benefits and reimbursement which differs from company to company and will be paid by the company.

Bonus is specifically performance bonus which will be based on the performance and contribution towards organization which will be different from employee to employee.

Deductions mainly consist of provident fund for which 12% will be contributed from your salary and 12% from the employers side.

post all the deduction the amount which will be left is your in hand salary (which will be paid by employer to you) ,while negotiating keep in mind the employer will be negotiating on the basis of the variable pay and not the fixed pay.If employer agrees to pay you more it means they will be increasing the cost to company and not your in hand salary however at the end it is you who is benefited.

How many times do we hear the word compensation? many a times right!!

everyone have a rough idea about the term however,

compensation is basically most attractive and desirable thing which employee seek , however employee will get the compensation only if the employer will be willing to offer the same in exchange for the services offered by the employee .

There are two types of compensation offered by the employer

Financial which include your basic salary, bonus paid, loans and advances which are paid by the employer in terms of hard cash.

Non-Financial are nothing but includes recognition ,opportunity for growth in the organization, good organizational culture and also policies.

however compensation are given by the employer on two basis namely willingness to pay and ability to pay.willingness of the employer depends upon the policy strategy and ethics of the organization however on other hand the ability to pay depends on the growth of the market shares and profitability of the organization.

If you want to opt for HR you should know what are actual objectives of HR so here I will list the main of them.

SOCIETAL: This is nothing but to be ethical and socially responsible for the need of society. For example what happened in the Maruti Manesar case was that HR HEAD was killed in the fight between the top level management and the contractual laborers .this happened because the HR lacked SOCIETAL objective.

ORGANIZATIONAL: This objective of HR is to assist the organization with its primary objective.

FUNCTIONAL: An HR should be able to maintain the departmental contribution at the level which is appropriate to the organization needs. this objective includes right-sizing of the employees.

HR:When any person (apart from who has studied HR as a subject) hears the word “HR” the only thing comes in his/her mind is recruitment ,but let me tell you its not just recruiting but more that that. people who are looking forward to do HR as their specialization need to know that including recruitment ,the job also has various other aspects such as appraisal, remuneration, compensation, benefits and what not.

If you are an HR or want to opt for HR you need to understand different terms such as business structure, how to Motivate the employees,if needed changing the organization culture, knowing the employees and their needs are also included in the so called “responsibilities “ of HR .The main challenge as an HR will be training and development of employees because in order to increase the productivity of the organization it is essential that the employees who are working needs to be updated on the recent trends and technology which will also be added as a responsibility of an HR.Now you know HR has got an vital role in the organization and of-course not just RECRUITING!!

As we all know the world is moving and developing at an higher pace and so as INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY,the next generation will be purely based on cloud computing which is basically an common server which everyone can access.

now if we see the relation between HR and CLOUD COMPUTING its kind off interesting stuff ,like if the process of operation has been modified and the employees are needed to be notified for the same the HR just need to upload the stuff on the cloud server which is can be accessed by every employe and also the employees can go through the same anytime they want , isn’t it interesting.

well with the introduction of cloud computing HR job has become a bit simpler only if the HR is updated about the same.So if you are an HR or working in any other field CLOUD COMPUTING is something which will be definitely benefiting your organization.
