Job Description: Africa Procurement Transformation Manager, Supplier Operations

Main Job Purpose
Accountable for landing the Procurement transformation in Africa. Deliver on-time & in-full operations process transitions to Supplier Operations and landing new ways of working without major business disruption.
Key Accountabilities
- Be the Supplier Operations Lead on the ground & act as the Single Point of Contact during transition and stabilisation for the Market.
- Leverage knowledge of operational processes & ways of working in the market to ensure that specific nuances are built into the new processes and delivered in a seamless transfer.
- Be the voice of the market into the transformation programs including digital transformation.
- Support the Run Third Party Service Providers in getting up to speed with local Market/Portfolio Procurement processes via structured Knowledge Transfer sessions
- Partner with Procurement, Source-to-Pay Operational Excellence & Capability, Run Third Party Service Providers, PMO Delivery Partner & IT to ensure zero process gaps.
- Align Transition Stage Gate success criteria with Market/Portfolio Procurement Director & ensure they are signed-off.
- Communicate & help land new ways of working with Markets/Portfolio Buyers
Professional Skills
Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or Business Administration
Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience across different Procurement roles
- Effective English oral & written communication skills
- End-to-end business process & solution mindset
- Ability to lead & deliver through project teams
- Able to face into & effectively manage conflict
- Ability to influence key stakeholders & drive business change
Travel
- 5-10% (post lifting of Covid-19 restrictions)
