JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
This is a hybrid role with dual responsibilities. The role is responsible to lead, drive and deliver Learning & Development initiatives in the ASPAC region including partner / distributor trainings as per need from the indirect markets.
The role is also responsible to drive Sales Enablement, Distributor Excellence and Sales Analytics in the Asia Pacific region. This role will take directions from the Global Teams to fulfill the agenda regionally
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities
- Guide the planning and delivery of interventions for Leadership Development in Commercial teams
- With P&C, facilitate and provide coaching and direction in the development of People managers through on the job learning, training/education and/or focused project work. Co-ordinate development of all Key Talent in the region. Create an environment built on teamwork within commercial and across support departments leading to improved division and Company performance, job satisfaction and retention through people development.
- Drive the roll out of sales training at regional level to ensure consistent dissemination of information and One Ortho image of the company is presented to Customers. Conceptualize and design training / learning interventions specific to IVD/ Medical devices sector and validate them with P&C Teams.
- With P&C, create a climate of continuous learning in the organization through various engagement channels.
- Monitor the usage of management tools (Axonify, etc.) to ascertain the training needs of Commercial employees. Evaluate the cost / benefits and finalize the mix of internal & external training programs for this population
- Determine the changing requirements of Commercial function through discussions with the Country Heads and identify new target / focus areas for which to create new training programs
- Review and guide the content creation for new/ improved training programs for the New Hire trainings
- Standardization of existing content to harmonize the dissemination of Behavioral/ Technical training across ASPAC.
- Lead and drive Sales Analytics by providing insights on Sales, revenue planning, funnel and opportunities information for all countries in the ASPAC region. Lead the delivery, implementation and training of SFDC in the region
- Drive Distributor Excellence in the region especially in the indirect markets
- Compliance with all the applicable regulations and ORTHO policy
Other Duties
- Participate in global initiatives as needed
- Be a champion of L&D and Sales Analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree ideally in Business, Marketing or Healthcare Management, MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
- 10+ years of Sales & Marketing experience in a commercial organization. Diagnostic/Medical Devices industry experience is preferred.
- 5+ years in regional (ASEAN) responsibility In L&D (commercial) required
- Knowledge of SFDC and Sales Analytics will be preferred
- Very good communication, presentation and platform skills, financial/business acumen, organizational and people management skills.
Required travel % - 30%, primarily in the region

Customer Excellence
- Gathering customer satisfaction data to inform marketing strategy decisions
- Effectively and regularly assess and articulate customer needs to appropriate Ortho departments/functions to steer improvement and development of products and services
- Monitor NPS scores for the region and ensure appropriate communication and action plans are in place
