Close any open programs before starting the process.
- Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
- Click Restore My Computer to an Earlier Time and click Next.
- Select a date from the calendar.
- Select a restore point and click Next. The system will shut down, restart, and start the restore.
