Cardinal Rules of Memory

Cardinal rules of memory are the rules that are so important that, if you break them, their consequences are horrible and terrible. When you participate in a discussion, each and every reaction you post will have two fields that you have to complete to get the credit for your reaction. These fields are the Message field and the Subject field. Regardless of the high quality of your message if your Subject is not acceptable, your post cannot get the credit.

Here are the two cardinal rules of memory:

Cardinal Rule 1

The Message must be able to teach something new and significant things about the subject. The main purpose of a discussion post is to convey new information about the discussed issue. Before submitting the discussion post, ask yourself these questions:

Is your message precise?

Is it related to the issue that is discussed?

Are you able to teach something new?

Is your information accurately acknowledged?

Cardinal Rule 2

The issue should be a complete sentence that can summarize the key point of the post. It is important to create a topic for the discussion posts that delivers the main point of the message. Using just a keyword or a key phrase as your topic is not enough; you must form a sentence that can summarize the main point of your message. The purpose here is to state the main idea of the message in the topic. Keep this in mind that you cannot mention the subject you are commenting on, you just have to summarize the main point in a sentence.
