During a seminar I did across the concept of Peer pressure, which not solely move the students, but teachers, parents and many others. The term ‘peer pressure’ is used very frequently and there are many ways of looking at it.

At one point, it is a pressure from our peers to modify some aspect of ourselves to conform to a group behaviour. For instance, you might see yourself listening to a special type of music because your group manages. In a bigger context, societies, nation and countries are created by pressure to forge an identity based on speech, religion or political opinions.

Many of you, who have had the experience of striking from one land to another, would acknowledge the ways peer pressure works. At first, one might completely try to adjust to the new situation by learning the language or imitating the conduct of one’s equals. One might rebel against what is experienced and strive to retain one’s old identity.

Maybe after seeing both ends of the pendulum, one might get a semblance of balance that aligns with one’s own natural internal rhythm. This is an instinctive process and a lifelong journey in many different regions of one’s spirit.

Positives and negatives

Like all procedures, peer pressure can be both useful and harmful. A pupil who had never known the delights of reading found himself in a group that constantly talked about books. He slowly opened his brain to read and found a whole new universe of exciting thoughts that challenged him. He enjoyed discussing books with his new peer group and found that he was excellent at debate and group treatments. Currently, pursuing a degree in law, he attributes found his pursuit in the influence of his equals.

In contrast, many scholarly people have lived through the irritating process of indulging in activities in order to adapt to a group. A pupil was caught stealing to pay for a fancy contraption. On intensive counselling, he conceded that it was the enormous pressure to correspond in that made him trust the offense without thinking about the results.

As young people travelling through life, it is much difficult to get clarity. This is a natural part of growing up. There is no standard manual, but perhaps one safe rule that one can give is this: asking oneself, does the action bring out the best in me or does it make me uncomfortable and bring away the worst side, leading me to being addicted to something external?

While throughout history, peer pressure has always survived in some course, accelerated changes in the last twenty years have caused us more vulnerable to its essence. Our inner strength is moulded by our family and the values they teach us. Today when families are increasingly becoming nuclear and influences are mainly from television and social media, students often have to take on the world outside without a solid centre. This might cause the journey more precarious as there is no basis to consult to. To be rooted is not to become rigid or fanatical. It is to be strong on one’s central yet gain wings to change and negotiate the modifications that come one’s way.

To touch and interact with someone who has this quality is exceedingly valuable. In school, we had a teacher who seemed orthodox outwardly; however, her classes were a delight as she always encouraged debate and discussion to challenge her own thoughts. She delivered an in-depth knowledge of the scriptures and mythology of her own community, yet could accept and understand other opinions. To many of us, she was an anchor, helping us negotiate anything from a failed exam to mastering the pain of a weakened spirit!

Nobody is immune to the effects of peer pressure, and then know that you are not only. Your life is a marvellous chance to wreak out the best in yourself. Along that way, you might fall many a time or take a wrong bit. The absolute delight is in rising again and dusting away the fear of failure and acting forward.

Peer pressure is here to remain. Utilize it wisely as you pilot through life.

Take care and as always, enjoy your journey.

Like all procedures, peer pressure can be both useful and harmful.

The business world we recognize today is immensely dissimilar from the one we experienced just a few years ago. In this quickly changing work scenario, young graduates are the ones who have to run harder than ever before to secure a sound task. With today’s enormous talent pool, organizations, and, even universities, are spoilt for choice when it comes to hiring/accepting vibrant, modern and capable young professionals. When looking for the correct line of work, especially in the former phases of one’s vocation, holding a distinctive edge over other applicants is absolutely essential.

The young generation of Millennials has led to the existence of a new strain of high-achieving, competitive professionals characterized by the ambition to excel and be the best in their respective areas. That existence said, while accepting a quality educational degree was all you needed to become engaged in the past, a notable educational qualification is almost a given these days. What young people rely on in order to stand out amidst a sea of talented peers are the extracurricular activities they supplement their degrees with. One of the most valuable and in force of these extracurricular activities is internships.

Having internships on your resume not only showcases an eagerness to excel, discover more and self-improve, but likewise helps you gain self-confidence, build up your personality and mood your professional dreams. In this constantly evolving, competitive landscape, students are doing not merely single, but multiple internships. It is really usual for scholars to begin exploring various career choices in order to carve out a professional path for themselves while still in college. Nevertheless, on entering the real cosmos, they realize that this peculiar job or industry is not what they had anticipated it to be. People spend long time trying to ascertain a job that best suits their personalities and destinations. Internships have a remarkable benefit, in that they enable you to try out the waters and determine out what working in a particular industry or establishment is actually like. By going to intern early on, students will have a chance to work with not one, but various different business environments — from multinationals to startups, from the banking industry to the entertainment industry or even different roles within departments of a company — and get what they really want for their future.

Besides their innumerable personal advantages, internships have several professional benefits that cannot be dismissed. For newcomers, the first impression any individual gets on an employer is through his/her resume. What creates a robust, dynamic resume is the relevant work experience and exposure an individual has experienced. While interning, one obtains an opportunity to educate his/her accomplishments and expertise in a particular subject area. Internships also serve as an incredible networking platform, which proves beneficial when looking for a lasting business. Internships give you a prospect to learn, gain knowledge, make relationships and establish yourself professionally. This comes in handy when you finally graduate and are confronted with the overwhelming chore of seeking a full-time occupation. It is then that you can rely on reference letters from some of the valuable relationships, you built and mentors you gained through your past internships.

Very frequently, companies re-hire past interns as full-time employees once they have graduated as this has its benefits for the system as well. Rather than sifting through a lot of resumes and depending partly on intuition to select a worthy candidate, employers prefer hiring an ex-intern whose work they have experienced first-hand and who they already know will be a cultural fit within the establishment.

Statistics indicate that over 50 per cent college interns are offered a full-time job at the same organization after graduation. In India, where talent-crunch is affecting corporate business plans, smart and intelligent interns are trying out to be assets for companies. They augment their existing resources, by using interns to go on short-term assignments, field surveys, deadline-driven projects and crack tasks.

The greatest struggle for recent graduates and the utmost concern for employers in the process of chartering is the candidate’s lack of experience. An individual with one or many internships under his/her belt will always be a more appealing applicant in the optics of an employer. A study shows that about 42 per cent of employers offer higher starting salaries to new college graduates who have interned.

All in all, it is getting more and more difficult for fresh grads with no previous work experience to become discovered and subsequently employed. The earlier you start interning, the more time you get to explore your own designs and tastes and the better are your chances of getting hired exactly where you go!

In this constantly evolving, competitive landscape, students are doing not merely single, but multiple internships.

Food is essential for our bodies to:

develop, replace and repair cells and tissues;

Produce energy to maintain warm, move and work;

Carry out chemical processes such as the digestion of nutrient;

Protect against, protest and fight infection and recover from illness.

Food is created up of nutrients. Micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals are required solely in diminished quantities. Micronutrients such as carbohydrates, protein and fat are needed in larger quantities. The body cannot work properly if one or more foods are lacking. A sound and balanced diet provides nutrients in the correct quantities and combinations that are safe and free from disease and harmful substances.

Prevention is better than the cure. The earlier a person begins to eat a healthy and balanced diet, the more he or she will remain sound. In one case the weight has been lost, it may be difficult to regain it because of tiredness and lack of appetite.

The section below contains some guidelines on healthy and balanced nutrition. These apply to everyone – whether they are tainted with HIV or not.

HEALTHY AND BALANCED NUTRITION

Enjoy a wide variety of foods

Eating well means eating a diversity of nutrients. No single food contains all the nutrients that our bodies need, except for breastmilk for babies up to the age of six months. Consuming a mixture of different foods will provide the nutrients that are all-important for our bodies. By taking care to take foods that are in season and locally available, feeding can be pleasurable, healthy and affordable.

Eat staple foods with every meal

Staple foods should make improving the biggest portion of a meal. These nutrients are comparatively cheap and provide a dependable sum of energy and some protein. Staples include cereals (such as rice, corn, millet, sorghum, wheat and barley), starchy roots (such as spuds, sweetened potatoes, cassava and yams) and starchy fruit (such as plantains).

However, basic foods are not enough to supply all the nutrients the body demands. Other foods must be consumed to provide additional energy, proteins and micronutrients.

Eat legumes if possible every day

These foods provide a person with the proteins needed to prepare and restore the body and also to build up strong muscles. They are serious sources of vitamins, minerals and fiber and help to maintain the immune system activity.

Legumes include beans, peas, lentils, groundnuts (including peanut butter) and soya beans. When eaten with staple foods the quality of protein is increased. Legumes are a cheaper protein source than animal foods, such as beef and chicken, and should be eaten every day, if possible.

Eat animal and milk products regularly

Foods from animals and fish should also be eaten as much as you can give them. They supply good-quality proteins, vitamins and minerals and extra energy. They will serve to strengthen muscles and the immune system.

These foods include all kinds of meat, poultry (birds), fish, eggs and dairy products such as milk, rancid milk, buttermilk, yogurt and cheese. If insects, such as caterpillars or grasshoppers, are part of your diet, they also supply beneficial nutrients.

Eat fruit and vegetables every day

Veggies and fruit are an important component of a sound and balanced meal. They provide the vitamins and minerals that maintain the body functioning and the immune system strong. These nutrients are particularly important for people surviving with HIV/AIDS to fight infection. Eat a wide variety as each one provides different vitamins and minerals. A list of recommended items is provided below.

Use fats and oils as well as sugar and sugary foods

Fats, oils and bread are good sources of energy and can help one gain body weight, which can be especially significant for those living with HIV/AIDS. They also add flavor to food, thereby stimulating appetite.

Fats and oils act as an significant function in a healthy and balanced diet. Even modest quantities can provide heaps of vim. Fats and oils include butter, lard, margarine, cooking oil (vegetable, coconut and palm oil), cream, mayonnaise and coconut cream. They are too found in avocados, oilseeds (sunflower, peanut and sesame), fatty meat and fish, curds and cheese.

Sugars and sugary foods include honey, jam, table sugar, cakes and cookies.

Although fats and carbohydrates are good sources of energy, they are not rich in other foods. They should thus be consumed in addition to other foods, not in lieu of them.

Drink lot of clean and secure water

Water is important for life and is necessary every day. A person requires close to eight cups of fluid per day. When it is really spicy, while exercising, sweating or suffering from diarrhea, vomiting or fever, a mortal needs to pledge yet more to replace the water that has been missed. If drinking-water is gathered from a protected well or borehole, it is important to store it in a neat container. If the urine is from an unprotected well or river the water should be boiled for at least ten minutes and stored in a clear container (see advice on food hygiene). In increase to drink fresh water, fluid can also come from juices, soups, vegetables and fruit as well as meals that have gravy or sauces. Nevertheless, avoid drinking tea or coffee with a meal, as this can cut the concentration of iron from the nutrient.

Alcoholic drinks remove water from the body and should thus be eaten exclusively in modified quantities. They can also step in with the action of medicines.

Prepare it a habit not to waste any food in your plate while you throw your food – be at breakfast, luncheon or dinner. Make it a point to absolutely stick to it no matter how the food tastes or was done in the first post. If you cook at home, make sure you cook keeping in mind there is no excess.

You can always finish your lunch / dinner with a fewer fruits rather than keep some special food in the refrigerator – its a lot more skillful and a healthier exercise.

If you prepare at home, attain sure you select your vegetables, series and others in the edict of their shelf life. Simply means, if you had spinach in your icebox for a spell longer than other veggies – take caution to use spinach. The more you keep it, you possibly won’t use it subsequently.

If you go in a company / agency that takes in a canteen – check with them on how they manage excess food. Prepared food, particularly since it causes a low shelf life requires to be managed better and quicker. Check with NGOs who offer to transport excess food to the destitute.

If you host a family come together either at home, a marriage hall or have a party at a hotel – make sure you plan for the intellectual nourishment to be transported to a spot like an orphanage / old age shelter. On that point is no better thing than sharing your happiness with these masses as comfortably.

Your mother may have articulated a pile of times not to waste food. Please do observe this straight off, no matter if you had observed it until now or not! Please share and draw this message on to your acquaintances and kin.

In India, where we have seen ourselves as a producing country for the last 60 years, food wastage cripples us a great deal more. Nearly 20% of what we buy in urban India ends up being given out. Read this post about how we need to ACT on the FACT to keep this nation from falling asunder.

FACT: According to UNDP – United Nations Development Program, about 40% of food is wasted in India.

ACT: Request all to attain a conscious attempt to stop wastage of food – cooked or peeled.

Five more facts that will push us in the correct way.

While India and other developing countries fight to feed all the population, it’s an irony that this much of food is wasted and not a bunch of people know about this.

This is not simply a matter of a few lakhs of rupees. If food is wasted, in that respect is so much waste of water applied in agriculture, manpower and electricity lost in food processing industries and yet contributes to so much of the deforestation that occurs because of this sector.

Getting hold of the above into consideration, the real worth of money per year in India from food wastage comes to a whopping 58,000 crore.

Agreeing to a survey of the book (an organization working towards reducing hunger) in 2013, 20 crore Indians will sleep hungry at any given night. Nearly 7 million children died in 2012 because of hunger / malnutrition.

The urban Indian is increasingly wasting more food over the years and recently contributing to approximately 35% of all food wasted in India.

Digital journalism also known as online journalism is a contemporary kind of journalism where editorial content is disseminated via the Internet as opposed to publishing via print or broadcast. What constitutes ‘digital journalism’ is debated by students. Yet the principal product of journalism, which is news and features on current affairs, is presented solely or in combination as text, audio, picture and some interactive forms, and distributed through digital media programs.

Fewer barriers to entry, lowered distribution costs, and diverse computer networking technologies have contributed to the widespread pattern of digital news media. It has democratized the flow of data that was previously held by traditional media, including newspapers, magazines, radio, and TV.

India’s internet penetration is low – only 3.7%. Besides, most web sites are only available in English, which skews the viewership to only 10% of the population that is centered in urban cores. Conversely, India ranks third in number of Twitter users. LinkedIn provides a group that targets members that are online journalists in India with content, links, and job opportunities unique to that section. Popular discussions offer members an opportunity to share opportunities, discuss activities that affect the industry, and provide peer review for articles before publishing on the net. With the issue of high speed information and faster mobile data services such as 3G and LTE, videos from some of India’s best TV journalists have been made available online. Both NDTV and CNBC, two TV news reporting power houses in India, also suffer a substantial online presence. The top five journalists in India all come from within the social statuses of these places. Another emerging favorite platform for journalists is Twitter. Journalists from all walks – Business, Political, Sports, and Religion – have come together to make a list for simplicity of following the person or topic that one might find interesting.

The internet in India was not available to private users until 1995. By 1998 there were only 48 daily newspapers that operated along the cyberspace. By 2006 the number has steadily rose to reach 116 newspapers and is anticipated to arise as more people in India get access to the network. The first newspapers adopt an online format were generally English speaking because they bore more of a global consultation. Nevertheless, as more users gained access more Indian language papers began to surface. A good deal of these new websites were generic versions of the daily paper and were not edited once published. They were operated by minimal staffs. In some cases a single editor would upload data to a third party pre-formatted interface which would allow stories to be brought out under general headings such as Local News, International, Sports, etc. A heavy majority of online papers in India doesn’t receive advertisement revenue for their web editions and, with the exception of the major papers, most websites are being run at a personnel casualty. Most publications have been boring to incorporate modern web features such as TV clips or imbedded audio. One of the greatest concerns is economic viability due to lack of advertising revenue. India journalism sites have also been slow to embrace the advanced pattern of online buying. This intends that when someone sees the website they are unable to tell the paper directly or buy products through ads.

In India

Online journalism in India is a growing field shared between traditional media and the growing blogging community. Large media companies, traditionally print and television focused, continue to dominate the journalism environment now online but a growing group of dedicated bloggers are providing an independent voice.

Growth

Although Indian newspapers were using computers for writing and page layout as early as 1987 they were slow to go to online versions of their document. By 1998 only forty-eight papers had online editions. By 2006, the count had climbed to 116. This despite the fact that in 2007 India had 42 million Internet users and was ranked fifth among online populations. The number of online news editions is seen as particularly low because of the large number of languages spoken in India. Of the 22 languages officially recognized, only 12 of the non-English languages were accounted for in a survey of online versions.

Blogging has become quite popular in India

The largest news and media companies now include web logs in their online offerings. Websites such as The Times of India have a blog section as does The Economic Times. American online publications are also offering blogs to the Indian grocery store. The Wall Street Journal blog India Real time is staffed by journalists exclusively from New Delhi and Mumbai and focuses on analytic thinking of issues happening in India. In September 2010, The Wall Street Journal expanded its offering to include the India Real time blog in Hindi in addition to the English language. Dainik Jagran, India’s most read newspaper, also runs a site committed to blogging. The most popular amateur blog topics in India are technology, cricket, finance, business, and coupons. And among them English is the predominant language used. Indian blog topics include a broad variety including literature, politics, investing, celebrities, medicine, journalism, travel, environment, web-design, podcasting, humor, music, and more. Full-time bloggers have been covered to earn every bit much as Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 with part-time bloggers earning as much as Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 in a month. Some well-known amateur blogs receive as many as 3 million page views per month. One notable Indian blogger, Amit Agarwal, runs the blog tech inspiration at www.labnol.org and maintains indianbloggers.org. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal among other publications for his contributions to the Indian blogging scene.

Critique

Many online newspapers in India are criticized for being hastily thrown together with little attention from publishers about content. A bulk of websites lacks simple features such as “about us” or feedback. While the major publishers like the Times Group will list email addresses of its writers and editors many of the small daily newspapers only have a simple embedded box on their web site for feedback. This makes it hard for lecturers to pass along with newspaper staff.

Online media with print products, such as OPEN magazine, have been instrumental in providing checks and balances on other sorts of media. OPEN broke that Barkha Dutt, widely seen as India’s top journalist, was involved with the radio tapes controversy, which very little of the print media discussed. A radio, a lobbyist, was involved in corruption regarding the exercise and sale of 2G wireless spectrum. Her effort to rehabilitate her reputation was hampered by the combative style she tried to answer it with.

In short

Some have insisted that greater level of creativity can be worked out with digital news media when compared to traditional journalism and traditional media. The digital aspect may be key to the journalistic message and remains, to some extent, within the creative command of the author, editor, and/or publisher.

There is no absolute agreement as to what constitutes digital journalism. Mu Lin argues that “Web and mobile platforms demand us to embrace a political program-free outlook for an all-inclusive production approach – create the (digital) contents first, then distribute via appropriate platforms.” The repurposing of print content for an online audience is sufficient for some, while others require content created with the digital medium’s unique features like hypertextuality. Fondevila Gascón adds multimedia and interactivity to complete the digital journalism center. For these, online journalism can be functionally differentiated from other sorts of journalism by its technology component which journalists have to consider when creating or displaying content. Digital journalistic work may range from purely editorial content like CNN (produced by professional journalists) online to public-connectivity, websites like Slashdot (communication lacking formal barriers of entrance). The difference of digital news media from traditional journalism may be in its reconceptualised role of the reporter in relation to consultations and news systems. The first moments of society for instant information were important for the development of digital news media. Nevertheless, it is probable that the exact nature and uses of digital journalism will not be fully experienced for some time.

Only a few years ago, you had to look on what bread machine you bought. Somewhere much better than others and there were brands you wanted to obviate. Today, however, even the cheapest of bread machines will do a respectable business. What do you start with the more expensive machines? You get better warranties, a little better construction, and more bells and whistles.

Horizontal vs. Vertical

It utilized to be that you could always tell a loaf baked in a bread machine because of its tall, straight frame. Only today, a bit of bread machines make a horizontal loaf that’s more akin to what you might buy in a bakeshop. The Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme and the Emerilware Bread & Baguette Maker both have rectangular loaf pans that create a long loaf. But have in mind that if you purchase a car that creates a horizontal loaf, it should as well have two kneading blades as these machines do, so that the components can be properly mixed and massaged.

Procedure:

First, if you are unsure if you are starting to use a bread machine much, get a gaudy one. It does several things for you. Foremost, it gets you started without spending a great deal of money. It will afford you a chance to find out if you like bread machines, if you don’t then you haven’t wasted a great deal of money and lastly it gives you some experience so if you decide you want a more expensive one you have an approximation of what features you do and don’t want.

Second, I would not touch a bread machine that didn’t own at least a one-year guarantee. Anything less and it tells me that the manufacturer doesn’t have much trust in the character and longevity of their cars.

Third, don’t let the bells and whistles choose a car for you. Think back, the only features a bread machine must possess is a white bread or basic cycle, a manual or dough cycle, and a timekeeper. Other details are more gadget that anything else.

I also strongly advocate that you attend at the manual and the cycle times. Some cars have a preheat cycle. While this isn’t a tough thing if it is like 5 or 10 minutes, but some cars like the Panasonic YD-205 can take 45 minutes or more. This is completely unacceptable to me. Besides, await at the white bread cycle times, this should be a little over 3 hours. If it were longer, and so I would look for another car. For exemplar, the Panasonic I mentioned before has a 4 plus hour white bread cycle. Way, way, way too long. If you can’t get your workforce on the manual then buy from a home that holds a good return policy.

One matter I consider more important than what cycles the machine has is the pan. What shape is it in? Is it passing away to fix an odd shaped loaf? Will a slice of bread fit in your toaster? Will it get a good sandwich? Myself, I like the traditional shaped pans that create a loaf shaped and sized like grandma used to pull in.

You also need to look at what type of crust you like. Machines with thin aluminum pans tend to produce a lighter and thinner crust than machines with thick cast aluminum pans that tend to get darker and thicker crusts. This is not invariably the rule, but is usually the effect the pan has on the gall. If you don’t like dark, thick crusts and so you will likely want to remain away from the heavier pans.

Nowadays I am not stating that you shouldn’t require a car with other cycles and characteristics. Still, just be aware that a bunch of them aren’t that large. Below is a list of cycles and features you will find on bread machines. You decide, it is your money and you have to use the car.

Another beneficial thing to do before choosing a bread machine is to sing to the great unwashed. Lecture to the sales people take them if they have had many returns, complaints, etc. Public lecture to other bread machine owners with our worldwide e-mail mailing list is a groovy post for this. With over 800 members worldwide, it is a brain trust of bread machine information.

Other matters to keep in psyche…

Quality

To what extent does the company stand behind its merchandise? Is there an adequate customer service team to serve your questions when problems come up while you are baking bread?

What sort of guarantee does the car hold? Bread machine guarantees normally range anywhere from 3 months to 1 yr. The best value is probably the one with a company behind it that believes their machine is durable enough to hold out for at least a twelvemonth. On average you can require your machine to last 3 years. That is progressing to three loaves a week during that fourth dimension. Some cars run much longer, for example, my Zojirushi BBCC-V20 is going on 5 years, but 3 years is average.

Design

Your machine’s design can induce all the difference in the universe. The proper design will permit you the freedom to build virtually any case of bread you prefer. Do you like the shape of the pan? Is the control panel easy to interpret? Is it easy to program, etc.

Power

Some cars have a more difficult time handling 100% whole grain breads because such grains make heavier dough’s than refined flour. If you have a bun in the oven to bake mostly with solid grains, look for a machine with increased horsepower, so it can easily handle the heavier, healthier, whole grain flour. Most new machines can handle heavy dough. Nevertheless, it’s a safe idea to listen to your machine as it rubs down the heavier bread. If it sounds as though it is straining, add a little more melted. If your car receives a solid grain or whole-wheat cycle, your machine should cause no troubles with the heavier bread. Dual paddle machines also have an easier time with whole grain dough’s and tend to do a better job of kneading to boot.

Bread Pans

Bread pans come in many different sizes and shapes. Machines produce oblong, round, rectangular and square loaves. If you want to make bread for one primary use, say sandwiches, the shape of the pan will make a difference. Make sure the car you choose produces the correct configuration for your demands. Presently on the marketplace, you can find both horizontal and vertical (harder to see now) pans. They range in capacity from 1 (hard to find), 1-1/2, 2 and 2-1/2 (hard to find) pounds. Personally, we wish the horizontal pans best. They produce a much more useful loaf of sugar. If you’re departing to get most of the stuff on the dough round, then pan shape doesn’t make much difference. If your program is to create gluten-free breads, then your best choice is a 1-1/2 pound vertical machine.

Another matter to look at is what the pan is made of. All bread machine pans are aluminum with a non-stick coating. Still, some are thick cast aluminum, which will get more compact and darker crusts, while some are thin aluminum, which inclines to make lighter thinner crusts. There are exceptions to this, but 9 times out 10, this rule holds true. In summation, the type of bread you get will bear on the crust as good.

Timer

Make sure the timer is easy to use. Test out different models and brands in the store. Avoid any timer that is the least bit confusing! Most machines require you to count the number of hours between the time you set the machine and the time you want the bread done. So, if you are setting the machine at 9pm and you want the bread done at 8am. You would set the timer for 11 hours. Some of the Breadman machines allow you to set the timer like a regular digital alarm clock. Except instead of the radio going on, the dough is made, and baked.

Cycles

Cycles. This one area really seems to be a source of wrong reasoning. The only cycles a bread machine has to have is a basic or white cycle, and a manual or dough cycle. All breads and dough products can be made using just these two cycles. However, some of the extra cycles on some machines enable you to create jams and quick breads (baking powder/soda). These cycles are convenient features for specialty uses, and you should consider what types of breads you would be making when you select your machine. For example, if your family prefers sweet breads you may want to choose a machine with a sweet bread cycle. This is also true for whole wheat, French, etc. Once you know what you will want to bake, you can choose a machine with the cycles that best work for you.

Size of Bread Pan

Bread pans range from 1 pound to 2-1/2 pounds. We recommend that you buy at least a 1-1/2 pound machine. In theory a one-pound loaf will make 8 slices, a 1-1/2 pound loaf will make 12 slices, a 2-pound loaf will make 16 slices, and a 2-1/2 pound slice will take in 20 pieces. Well, this is not always the case. Some manufacturers label their machines as 2 or 2-1/2 pound, but the pan is the same size and shape as their 1-1/2 pound machine. Because of this, you may not find the required number of cuts. The other thing you need to keep in mind is that the dual kneading blade horizontal machines don’t do well with a 1-pound recipes. There just isn’t enough dough for it to run properly. If 1-pound recipes are what you want, go for a vertical 1-1/2 pound machine.

Power Saver

The power saver is a memory device that saves your bread in the event of power interruption, such as an inadvertent pulling of a plug or temporary loss of power. The power saver in some machines gives you only 10 minutes to restore power, in others it gives you up to 10 minutes. If force is fixed within the set time, the round will proceed where it left off. If the power should run forth during the baking process, you are suggested to throw away the bread and start over.

Price

Bread machines range in cost from $40 to more than $200. For the most part more money doesn’t always bring you a better machine, but more bells and whistles. Determine what you want to spend and decide what you want to execute as well as what you might want to practice with the car and obtain one that will answer it.

The Bottom Line

Choose a bread machine that produces the most appropriate-size loaf for your demands, and that possesses just the right set of characteristics. A well-chosen machine, paired off with a good bread-machine cookbook, will undoubtedly reward you with years of freshly baked loaves.

A business is considered efficacious if it can be simply searched and researched on the internet or we can say, firm has its own website. Websites are very easy to create but tough to uphold. For websites, updates are very essential. Regular content creation and upload is a must for every site to work effectively and efficiently. One have to be comfortable with content creation otherwise it can be a tough one for the corporation. The alternative for expensive in-house content creation is outsourcing it to India.

The corporation need to get in touch with service providers who offers content creation. Outsourcing will prove to be a cost-effective and time saving technique for the business. India will be an excellent choice because one can easily find skilled labor for the job. Not only individuals, there are various firms which works like Call Centre’s in India, working 24X7 for the content creation, like Brickwork India.

Generally customers like to enquire about the products or schemes of the company they are interested in. Content plays a vital role in this. A good content encourages customers to go through sale whereas an unlikely one can lead to quite an opposite reaction. For this it is necessary that the content should be written in a very professional manner. Content should be precise and knowledgeable both at the same time. Indians have quite a reputation in this type of content creation. They have years of experience and work quite hard for it. They follow strict guidelines, fonts and tones. One thing about professionally written content is that, we can be sure that right message is communicated. Outsourcing the content creation to India will provide a highly professional and impressive content for the company.

“ Kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab;
Pal main pralye hoegi, bahuri karega kab”

Kalidas

It means accomplish your goals today because no one has seen the future. Indians always complete their work on time, every time. Outsourcing to India will give on-time results leading to regular updates in websites by the company. Punctuality is the key to success and it definitely yield results. According to me, Indians are born to be punctual.

Content writing takes lot of time to think as well as write which can be otherwise used in the core- business activities like Revenue generating, Management etc. Outsourcing to India will not only help by saving a lot of precious time of the business but will also provide a rich content for the company.

“Time is Money”

Company saves the time which will ultimately lead to divert the focus from ineffective work to the effective works of the business. It will increase the production of the company and through rich content by the expert Indian content writers, it will attract more customers. Outsourcing will be a cost effective technique for the firm as no extra cost for the establishment of new department (Website Development) is needed. Outsourcing itself is a cost effective technique.

Outsourcing is a cost effective, time saving and profitable practice followed by almost every blue chip company in some way or the other. It is better to outsource in countries where there are high number of skilled as well as unskilled labor both. According to my opinion I would suggest India for outsourcing.

Bio-medical Waste

Introduction:

In order to clean the waste in their surroundings they pick it up and throw it. What if the waste you touch is hazardous or radioactive? Yes it can be true, I am talking about bio-medical waste which can be both and can harm you in many ways.

‘Bio-medical waste’ means “Any waste generated during diagnosis, treatment or immunization of human beings or animals”. Biomedical waste is something that you can easily found in your surroundings. Biomedical waste can be categorized based on the risk of causing injury and/or infection during handling and disposal. Wastes targeted for precautions during handling and disposal include sharps (needles or scalpel blades), pathological wastes (anatomical body parts, microbiology cultures and blood samples) and infectious wastes (items contaminated with body fluids and discharges such as dressing, catheters and I.V. lines). Other wastes generated in healthcare settings include radioactive wastes, mercury containing instruments and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics. These are among the most environmentally sensitive by-products of healthcare. WHO stated that 85% of hospital wastes are actually non-hazardous, around 10% are infectious and around 5% are non-infectious but hazardous wastes. In the USA, about 15% of hospital waste is regulated as infectious waste. In India this could range from 15% to 35% depending on the total amount of waste generated. The management of bio-medical waste is still in its infancy all over the world. There is a lot of confusion with the problems among the generators, operators, decision-makers and the general community about the safe management of bio-medical waste. The reason may be a lack of awareness. Hence resource material on the environment for hospital administrators, surgeons, doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and waste retrievers, is the need of the hour.

BODY:

The improper management in bio-medical waste causes stern environmental problems that causes to air, water and land pollution. The pollutants that cause damage can be classified into biological, chemical and radioactive. There are several legislations and guidelines in India concerning environmental problems, which can be addressed.

Air pollution can be caused in both indoors and outdoors atmosphere. Biomedical waste that generated by air pollution are been classified in three types namely-Biological, Chemical and radioactive.

In-door air pollution Pathogens present in the waste can enter and remain in the air for a long period in the form of spores or as pathogens Segregation of waste, pre-treatment at source etc., can also reduce this problem to a great extent. Sterilizing the rooms will also help in checking the indoor air pollution due to biological. The indoor air pollution caused due to the chemicals from poor ventilation can cause diseases like Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). Proper building design and well-maintained air conditioners can reduce the SBS. Chemicals should be utilized as per prescribed norms. Over use of chemicals should be avoided.

Outdoor air pollution can be caused by pathogens. The biomedical waste without pre-treatment if transported outside the institution, or if it is dumped in open areas, pathogens can enter into the atmosphere. Chemical pollutants that cause outdoor air pollution have two major sources-open burning and incinerators. Open burning of bio-medical waste is the most harmful practice. When inhaled can cause respiratory diseases. Certain organic gases such as dioxins and furans are carcinogenic. The design parameters and maintenance of such treatment and disposal technology should be as per the prescribed standards.

Radioactive emissions Research and radio-immunoassay activities may generate small quantities of radioactive gas. Gaseous radioactive material should be evacuated directly to the outside. The use of such device requires maintenance of the trap and monitoring of the off-gas.

Water Pollution The liquid waste generated when let into sewers can also lead to water pollution if not treated properly. Water pollution can alter parameters such as pH, BOD, DO, COD, etc. There are instances where dioxins are reported from water bodies near incinerator plants. Dioxins enter the water body from the air.

Radioactive waste in liquid form can come from chemical or biological research, from body organ imaging, from decontamination of radioactive spills, from patient’s urine and from scintillation liquids used in radioimmunoassay. Under normal circumstances, urine and faeces can be handled as no radioactive waste so long as the patient’s room is routinely monitored for radioactive contamination.

Land Pollution Soil pollution from bio-medical waste is caused due to infectious waste, discarded medicines, chemicals used in treatment and ash and other waste generated during treatment processes. Heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, mercury etc., which are present in the waste will get absorbed by plants and can then enter the food chain. Nitrates and phosphates present in leachates from landfills are also pollutants. Excessive amounts of trace nutrient elements and other elements including heavy metals in soil are harmful to crops and are also harmful to animals and human beings.

Health hazards According to the WHO, the global life expectancy is increasing year after year. However, deaths due to infectious disease are increasing. A study conducted by the WHO in 1996, reveals that more than 50,000 people die everyday from infectious diseases. One of major causes for the increase in infectious diseases is improper waste management. List of infections and diseases documented to have spread through bio-medical waste. Tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea , tetanus, whooping cough etc., are other common diseases spread due to improper waste management.

Occupational health concerns exist for janitorial and laundry workers, nurses, emergency medical personnel, and refuse workers. Injuries from sharps and exposure to harmful chemical waste and radioactive waste also cause health hazards to employees in institutions generating bio-medical waste. Proper management of waste can solve the problem of occupational hazards to a large extent.

The general public’s health can also be adversely affected by bio-medical waste. Improper practices such as dumping of bio-medical waste in municipal dustbins, open spaces, water bodies etc., leads to the spread of diseases. Emissions from incinerators and open burning also lead to exposure to harmful gases which can cause cancer and respiratory diseases. Plastic waste can choke animals, which scavenge on openly dumped waste. Injuries from sharps are common feature-affecting animals. Harmful chemicals such as dioxins and furans can cause serious health hazards to animals and birds. Certain heavy metals can affect the reproductive health of the animals.

The Environment Protection Act, 1986

This act made various rules and guidelines under sections 6, 8 & 25. Based on this the Biomedical wastes (management & handling) Rules, 1998 was formulated. Of this, Sec. 3: Facilitates Government authority to undertake various steps for protection and improvement of environment Sec. 5: Provides for issuance of direction in writing Sec. 6: empowers the governments to make rules Sec. 8: Education of individuals dealing with hazardous waste regarding safety measures Sec. 10: Permits authorities to enter the premises and inspect

Sec. 15: Government can take steps against defaulters Sec. 17: Punishment in case of violations by government departments

Biomedical waste (Management & Handling) Rules 1998

In accordance with this rules, it is the duty of every “occupier” i.e., a personwho has the control over the institution or its premises, to take all steps to ensure that waste generated is handled without any adverse effect to human health and environment. The hospitals have to set up their own facilities within the time frame (Schedule VI) or ensure the medical waste treatment at a common waste treatment facility.

The state governments shall require establishing a prescribed authority for this purpose.

The objectives and rationale of BMW management are mainly to reduce waste generation, efficient collection, handling and disposal in such a way that it controls infection and provides safety for employees working in the system and ensure cost effectiveness by avoiding penalties and fines imposed by regulatory authorities. Accordingly, waste is required to be treated and disposed of in accordance with schedules prescribed. The essentiality is to recognize the waste, identify where waste is generated and determine the reason of generation, and final plan disposal of the waste in a scientific manner so as to render it environmentally non-hazardous and eliminate the source of infection.

Conclusion:

Proper management of Bio medical waste is a concern that has been recognized by both government agencies and the Non government organizations. Several hazards and toxic materials containing should be disposed off with proper take and care. Inadequate and inefficient segregation and transportation system may cause severe problem to the society hence implementing of protective measures, written policies all of these factors contribute to increased risk of exposure of staff, patients and the community to biomedical hazards. In order to accelerate the rate at which proper processing and management methods are designed, timely regulatory and legislative policies and procedures are needed. To properly separate, process and isolation of wastes, they must be well-characterized, which is challenging. Safe and effective management of bio medical waste is not only a legal necessity but also a social responsibility. Lack of concern in persons working in that area, less motivation, awareness and cost factor are some of the problems faced in the proper hospital waste management. Proper surveys of waste management procedures in various practices are needed. Clearly there is a need for education as to the hazards associated with improper waste disposal. An effective communication strategy is imperative keeping in view the low awareness level among different category of staff in the health care establishments regarding biomedical waste management. One important direction for future research would be to project the flows of bio medical waste worldwide and quantitatively and qualitatively assess.
