Provisions Contained In The Rules Of A Trade Union

Under this Act, a trade union shall not the entitlement to registration. Unless in accordance with the provisions of this Act the executive thereof is constituted. Thus, the rules thereof provide for the following matters.Provisions contained in the rules of a Trade Union

The name of trade union:

  • The whole of the objects for which the establishment of the trade union has been done;
  • the whole of the purposes for which all of which purposes shall be purposes to which such funds are lawfully applicable under this Act, the general funds of the trade union shall be applicable;
  • The maintenance of adequate facilities for the inspection and also of a list of the members of the trade union. Thus, thereof by the office bearers and members of the trade union;
  • The persons actually shall have the admission of the number of temporary or honorary members as office bearers. And also if engaged or employed in an industry with which the trade union is connected. And also the. To form the executive of the trade union, required under section 22;
  • The conditions under which any member shall have the entitlement to any benefits. Therefore, the rules assure this, and under which imposition of any fine or forfeiture on the members;
  • Also, the manner of appointing or removing the members of the executive and the other office bearers of the trade union;
  • The safe custody of the funds of the trade union, and annual audit, in a prescribed manner. Facilities for the inspection of the account books by the office bearers and members of the trade union of the accounts thereof, and adequate; and
  • The manner of dissolving the trade union.
