Authorities Under The Act

In addition to the Government, there are the following authorities under the act, namely:

  • The National Council,
  • The Central Apprenticeship Council,
  • The State Council,
  • The State Apprenticeship Council,
  • The All India Council,
  • The Regional Boards,
  • The Boards or State Councils of Technical Education
  • The Central Apprenticeship Adviser,
  • The State Apprenticeship Adviser.

Authorities under the Act

Every State Council shall have the affiliation to the National Council and also, every State Apprenticeship Council shall have the affiliation to the Central Apprenticeship Council. Therefore, every Regional Board shall and every Board or State Council of Technical Education must have Central Apprenticeship Council’s affiliation.

Under the Act, above specified each of the authorities shall perform such functions as are assigned to it in relation to apprenticeship training. Thus, by or under the Act or by the Government. However, as assigned by the National Council and the State Apprenticeship Council, such functions shall be performed by the State Council assigned. And also the Board or State Council of Technical Education shall also perform such functions as are assigned to it by the Central Apprenticeship Council.
