Hand tools comprises nose pliers to open or hold small objects, cable tie or zip tie or tie-wrap, for binding several cables together and to organize them., screwdriver to open or tighten screws of different tips (‘+’ or ‘-‘), tweezers for picking up and manipulating objects too small to be easily handled with the hands, nut driver to loosen or tighten nuts or bolts and wire cutter to cut wires if needed. Special tools should also be present which consists of soldering iron and reel to join loose parts or connections by filling with filler or solder metal, small hammer for hammering objects, multi-meter to check voltage and current and wire stripper to strip wires of their cover. Sometimes technician also needs power and signal cables for different devices, electrical tape and heat sink compound.
