Autonomy

Employees have freedom to do things on their own. There is freedom and autonomy in their work. Assessment criteria are:

  • There is scope for every employee to have discretion in his/her job. (decision making, communication).
  • Enough freedom is given to employees to operate their role.
  • Employees are given liberty to choose activities, work methods, etc.
  • Employees are given autonomy in their own spheres of work.
  • There are systems in place to encourage and support autonomy.
