Using COPYCON to build a file

Copy con command is an internal command of MS-DOS. Text file can be created with the help of this command. The syntax for using this command is

COPY CON [[drive:][path]filename]

Where,

[drive:][path]filename1            Specifies the location and name of the file or files to create.

After giving the command, the cursor shifts to the next line and any data given now is copied into the specified file. But the end of the data has also to be indicated and it is done by either pressing ‘F6’ key or “Control” and “Z” key combination.
