Why is it necessary to coordinate sales activities with other departments? Sales Executives have responsibilities to co ordinate sales activities with other departments in the organization. This is essential as the product/service which is the final output of any organization is to be ultimately sold by the Sales Personnel. Higher ranking Sales Executives are those most concerned with obtaining effective co-ordination, but Sales Executives at all organizational levels have some responsibility for coordinating.
