Project manager and their team members are responsible for not only ensuring maximum profits, but also fulfill their ethical and corporate social responsibilities.

Most common ethical issues related to project management.
  1. Violating Basic Rights of Workers – Many a times it has been seen that the project managers tend to misuse their powers by violating the basic rights of workers such as not giving them any leave even in case of Such a behavior decreases the motivation level of team members.
  2. Ignoring Health or Safety Standards – Many countries have laid down laws to protect their employees by setting health, safety and environmental standards but at times the project manager ignore these safety
  3. Backstabbing – Very often the managers tend to backstab their team members especially those who are lower than them by misleading them or providing wrong information.
  4. Making dishonest Deals – Money has always been a great source to attracts corruption thereby forcing to project managers to accept deals that give more benefit to their own self. So in order to make some money fraudulent are created by using fictitious records such as show any expense that never occurred, etc.
  5. Wrong People on Job – Hiring family members, relatives or friends in the team without considering the desired skills and qualifications.
  6. Biasness –Biased behavior towards team member leads to a disturbance in the whole working environment.
  7. Blaming Others – In a team failure of one person is considered as the failure of whole team. But unfortunately most of the project managers blame their team members or subordinates for all the failures where being a project head it was also their responsibility to ensure success.
