The list-style-type has the value of ‘disc’ as the default value for unordered list and ‘decimal’ for unordered list on a web page. It gives option to change an ordered list to a list using Roman numerals for markers, or a bulleted list to one using squares instead of circles for markers.
Unordered Lists Styling – It has four styles for its list bullets consisting of disc , circle , square and none . The default value is disc and all major browsers support these values.
Ordered Lists Styling – The number preceding the list items in an ordered list can be formatted
with the keywords consisting armenian , cjk-ideographic , decimal , decimal-leading-zero , georgian , hebrew , hiragana , hiragana-iroha , inherit , katakana , katakana-iroha , lower-alpha , lower-greek , lower-latin , lower-roman , none , upper-alpha , upper-latin , upper-roman.
But support for the full range of list styles varies amongst different web browsers.
