Adding controls to the VWDE Toolbox

Adding controls to the VWDE Toolbox

To add a control to the Visual Web Developer Express (VWDE) Toolbox in ASP.NET, you can follow these steps:

Open the Toolbox: Open the Toolbox by selecting “View” -> “Toolbox” from the menu bar in VWDE.

Select the tab: In the Toolbox window, select the tab where you want to add the control. For example, if you want to add a new button control, select the “Standard” tab.

Right-click: Right-click on the tab and select “Choose Items” from the context menu. This will open the “Choose Toolbox Items” dialog box.

Add control: In the “Choose Toolbox Items” dialog box, click on the “Browse” button and navigate to the folder that contains the control you want to add. Select the control and click “OK”. The control will be added to the Toolbox.

Save the changes: Click “OK” to close the “Choose Toolbox Items” dialog box. The control will now be available in the Toolbox, and you can drag and drop it onto your web page.

Adding controls to the Toolbox in VWDE is a simple process that allows you to customize your development environment and make it easier to work with the controls you use frequently. By adding controls to the Toolbox, you can speed up your development workflow and improve your productivity.
