Strategies include using clear, concise communication and directions, learning to overcome communication problems in a multicultural workforce, sharing the rewards of a successful performance, and building trust, loyalty, and a sense of ownership.<\/p>\n<p>As a guideline, there are broadly seven strategies for motivation.<\/p>\n<p>1. Positive reinforcement \/ high expectations<br>2. Effective discipline and punishment<br>3. Treating people fairly<br>4. Satisfying employees&#8217; needs<br>5. Setting work related goals<br>6. Restructuring jobs<br>7. Base rewards on job performance<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Improving Motivation<\/strong><\/h5>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>According to CliffsNotes, &#8220;many people incorrectly view motivation as a personal trait\u2014that is, some people have it, and others don&#8217;t.&#8221; In reality, motivation is probably only partially innate: it is also a quality that can be learned and unlearned. One of the objectives of the training is also to foster and retain motivated employees and provide them with the tools to take on new responsibilities.
