Reason being, difficulty in creating good software and to instill new values into software development teams. Therefore, the Agile Manifesto came into existence.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"yoast-text-mark aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.softwaretestinghelp.com\/wp-content\/qa\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Agile-values.png\" alt=\"&quot;&lt;yoastmark\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Introduction to Agile Values<\/h2>\n<p>Agile Values is a set of 4 values layout by the Agile Alliance in\u00a0The Agile Manifesto<em>.<\/em>\u00a0Further, this set of values encourages putting people before processes, getting software out the door fast, and collaborating with customers.<\/p>\n<h2>What are the 4 Agile Values?<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Firstly, individuals and interactions\u00a0over processes and tools<\/li>\n<li>After that, working software\u00a0over comprehensive documentation<\/li>\n<li>In addition, customer collaboration\u00a0over contract negotiation<\/li>\n<li>Lastly, responding to change\u00a0over following a plan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A good way to think about the manifesto is that it defines values and encourages developers to focus on certain areas.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Individual and interactions over process and tools<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Firstly, this value places its emphasis on teamwork and communication. This is to say,\u00a0they need people to work together effectively through productive interactions. For instance,\u00a0Five software developers with their own separate but unique tools working together in a single room\u00a0will obviously perform better.<\/li>\n<li>Most importantly, making great software rely much more on teamwork, inspite of the tools teams are given. Think of the motto, \u201cA fool with a tool is still a fool.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Working software over comprehensive documentation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Secondly, documentation is an aid that software developers depends on as an alternative for making software that works well.<\/li>\n<li>Moreover, documentation surely has its place and can be a great resource for users who are wondering what the software is and how it works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Customer collaboration over contract negotiation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Thirdly, only your customers can tell you what they want, and it\u2019s your job to listen. Therefore, successful development teams work closely with their customers and extend communication with them. Moreover, just by listening and getting feedback company will understand what the consumer truly want out of the product.<\/li>\n<li>Further, it is important to create a relationship with customers that encourages communication.
