Software testing refers to a process of evaluating the functionality of a software application. That is to say, it is testing to find whether the developed software meets the pre-determined standards or not. Moreover,  it identifies the defects to ensure that the product is defect-free in order to produce a quality product.<\/p>\n

Software Testing Types:<\/h3>\n

Manual Testing: <\/strong>Firstly, manual testing is the process of testing software by hand to learn more about it in order to find what is working and what isn’t. This usually involves verifying all the features specified in requirements documents, but often also includes the testers trying the software with the perspective of their end user\u2019s in mind. Manual test plans vary from fully scripted test cases, giving testers detailed steps and expected results, through to high-level guides that steer exploratory testing sessions.<\/p>\n

Automation Testing: <\/strong>Secondly, automation testing is the process of testing the software using an electronic tool to find bugs. In this process, testers execute the test scripts and generate the test results automatically by using automation tools.<\/p>\n
