The Facebook Product Page<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Facebook social network can help a business promote a new product. Once a Facebook page has been setup, it can be used to publicize your product, other Facebook users may click the page’s “like” button to join the page and share it with friends. The creator of the page and appointed administrators can email those who have “liked” the page with products news and promotions. All page members can post to the page and share video clips, images and other content.<\/p>\n

Step\u00a01:\u00a0<\/strong>Sign in to your Facebook account and browse to “facebook.com\/pages\/create.php”.<\/p>\n

Step\u00a02:\u00a0<\/strong>Click the “Brand or Product” icon in the list of page types. Click the “Choose a Category” pull-down list and select the most appropriate category for your product. For example, select “Food\/Beverages” if you want to promote a candy bar on your Facebook page.<\/span><\/div>\n

Step\u00a03:\u00a0<\/strong>Click the “Facebook Pages Terms” link to view the terms applicable to creating and running a Facebook page. Tick the check box in the dialog box to confirm your agreement.<\/span><\/div>\n

Step\u00a04:\u00a0<\/strong>Enter your product name in the designated input field and click “Get Started.”<\/span><\/div>\n

Step\u00a05:\u00a0<\/strong>Select the “Import a Photo From Your Website” link or “Upload an Image From Your Computer” link to upload or import a product image to your Facebook page. This is the main image that appears in search results and in the upper left corner of your Facebook page. Find the product image you want to use in the file browser pane or Import box, then click the “Open” button. Click “Continue.”<\/span><\/div>\n

Step\u00a06:\u00a0<\/strong>Click “Invite Friends” and enter the names of the Facebook users you want to invite to join your new Facebook page. Click “Submit” and then “Continue.”<\/span><\/div>\n

Step\u00a07:\u00a0<\/strong>Enter product details and other relevant information into the “About” section. Type the URL of the product’s primary website or blog into the “Website” field. Click “Continue.” Facebook creates the product page.<\/span><\/div>\n
