If you do not know the details of the port, try using the\u00a0<strong>Generic Network Card<\/strong>.To create a custom configuration, click\u00a0<strong>Custom<\/strong>, and then configure the port by using the\u00a0<strong>Configure Standard TCP\/IP Port Monitor<\/strong>\u00a0screen that appears.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>If the wizard cannot determine the appropriate protocol for the port, it prompts you for the information. Follow the vendor\u2019s instructions for selecting either the RAW or LPR option.<\/p>\n<p>If you are not prompted for more information, continue to step\u00a05.<\/li>\n<li>Review the port information, and click\u00a0<strong>Finish<\/strong>.The new port is listed on the\u00a0<strong>Ports<\/strong>\u00a0tab of the\u00a0<strong>Properties<\/strong>\u00a0property sheet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #3333ff; font-family: Arial;\">How to\u00a0setup a Standard TCP\/IP Port\u00a0to\u00a0print\u00a0to Print Server?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">1.\u00a0 Run the Print Server Configuration Utility to get the IP address of your Print Server.<br \/>\nThe Print Server Configuration Utility is included in the Administrator Utility which can be downloaded from our\u00a0download page.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">If your Print Server Configuration looks like the following, click on PrintServer Status tab.\u00a0 Take a note about the Active IP address.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30026\" src=\"http:\/\/vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12-226x300.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"226\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12-226x300.jpg 226w, https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12.jpg 386w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">If your Print Server Configuration Utility looks like this, get the IP address<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30028\" src=\"http:\/\/vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/22-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/22-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/22-624x417.jpg 624w, https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/22.jpg 717w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">It is optional to assign print server a fixed IP address in your network, but we suggest you do so.<br \/>\nIn the above Print Server Configuration Utility, click on Setup button and go to TCP\/IP, then you can assign a fixed IP address to print server.\u00a0 In the above example, our print server has fixed IP address 192.168.123.13.\u00a0 Close Print Server Configuration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">If you have no idea about IP address, you may click\u00a0here\u00a0for some basic knowledge for networking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Click on the Start button. Select Run.\u00a0 Type &#8220;command&#8221; hit OK.\u00a0 Under the Command Prompt, type &#8220;ipconfig&#8221; hit Enter.\u00a0 You will see the IP address of your computer. Write down the IP address of your computer.\u00a0 Please note the first three digits of the Print Server IP address should be the same as the first three digits of your computer IP address.\u00a0 In our example, both use 192.168.123.x IP addresses.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30029\" src=\"http:\/\/vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/31-300x256.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"300\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/31-300x256.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/31.jpg 589w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">3.\u00a0 Under the command prompt, PING the IP address of your print server.\u00a0 In our example, ping 192.168.123.13 and receive 4 replies.\u00a0 Type Exit hit Enter to close the command prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">4.\u00a0 Click Start menu, go to Printers and Faxes. If you already have a printer driver icon existed, you can skip this step and go to step 5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">\u00a0 Click on Add Printer icon, click Next.\u00a0 Select the option &#8220;Local printer attached to this printer&#8221; font-size: small;\">If you do not see your printer in the list, you can click &#8220;Have Disk&#8221; button and provide the driver or install the printer driver by your printer manufacturer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">Click Next.\u00a0 You don&#8217;t need to share the printer and don&#8217;t print a test page.\u00a0 Click Finish button while the driver is installed successfully.\u00a0 Once you see the print driver icon created in Printers&amp;Faxes group, you can continue to Step 5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;
