Creating Sales Entry<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sales voucher is used to record all the Sales transactions of the company<\/p>\n

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounting Vouchers<\/p>\n

Select F6: Receipt from the button bar or press F6.<\/p>\n

For example, if your company receives money from a customer for an earlier transaction say sales, and the same is passed through a Receipt Voucher:<\/p>\n

Credit the customer account and debit the Cash account, if you receive cash or<\/p>\n

Debit the Bank account where you need to deposit the money, if you receive Cheques.<\/p>\n

The entry in double-entry mode is displayed as shown:<\/p>\n

Creating Purchase Entry<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purchase voucher is used to record all the Purchase transactions of the company.<\/p>\n

To pass a Purchase Voucher:<\/p>\n

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounting Vouchers<\/p>\n

Click on F9:Purchase on the Button Bar or press F9.<\/p>\n

a) Debit Purchase Account<\/p>\n

b) Credit Party Account<\/p>\n
