Create New Presentations from Templates<\/strong><\/h4>\n

When you create a presentation, and then save it as a PowerPoint Template (.potx) file, you can share it with your colleagues and reuse it more than once.<\/p>\n

On the\u00a0File\u00a0tab, click\u00a0Save As, in the File name box, name your template, and then in the Save as type box, select PowerPoint Template (*.potx).<\/p>\n

Create a PowerPoint template<\/h2>\n

To begin creating the template that you’ll use in your presentation, do the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Open a blank presentation, and then on the\u00a0View\u00a0tab, in the\u00a0Master Views\u00a0group, click\u00a0Slide Master.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In Slide Master view, in the slide\u00a0thumbnail\u00a0pane, the slide master represents the larger slide image, and the associated layouts are smaller, positioned beneath it.<\/p>\n
