The\u00a0PivotTable and PivotChart Wizard\u00a0is still available, and you can use it as needed by adding it to the Quick Access Toolbar, or by pressing ALT, D, P to start it.<\/p>\n<h3>What is a PivotTable report?<\/h3>\n<p>A PivotTable report is an interactive way to quickly summarize large amounts of data. Use a PivotTable report to analyze numeric data in detail and to answer unanticipated questions about your data. A PivotTable report is especially designed for:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Querying large amounts of data in many user-friendly ways.<\/li>\n<li>Subtotaling and aggregating numeric data, summarizing data by categories and subcategories, and creating custom calculations and formulas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What is a PivotChart report?<\/h3>\n<p>A PivotChart report provides a graphical representation of the data in a PivotTable report, which in this case is called the\u00a0associated PivotTable report. A PivotChart report is interactive, which means that you can sort and filter it to show subsets of the PivotTable data. When you create a PivotChart report, PivotChart report filters are displayed in the\u00a0chart area\u00a0so that you can sort and filter the underlying data of the PivotChart report. Changes that you make to the field layout and data in the associated PivotTable report are immediately reflected in the PivotChart report.<\/p>\n<p><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/18.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30779\" src=\"http:\/\/vskills.in\/certification\/tutorial\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/18.gif\" alt=\"1\" width=\"198\" height=\"237\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A PivotChart report displays\u00a0data series, categories,\u00a0data markers, and\u00a0axes\u00a0just as standard charts do.
