Create Bulleted Lists, Numbered Lists and Outlines<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Here are the steps to create bulleted lists, numbered lists, and outlines in Microsoft Word:<\/p>\n

Bulleted Lists:<\/p>\n

Place your cursor where you want to create the bulleted list in your Word document.<\/p>\n

Click on the “Home” tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n

Click on the “Bullets” button in the “Paragraph” section of the ribbon.<\/p>\n

Type the first item of your list and then press “Enter” to move to the next item.<\/p>\n

To end the list, press “Enter” twice.<\/p>\n

Numbered Lists:<\/p>\n

Place your cursor where you want to create the numbered list in your Word document.<\/p>\n

Click on the “Home” tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n

Click on the “Numbering” button in the “Paragraph” section of the ribbon.<\/p>\n

Type the first item of your list and then press “Enter” to move to the next item.<\/p>\n

Word will automatically number each item in the list.<\/p>\n

To end the list, press “Enter” twice.<\/p>\n

Outlines:<\/p>\n

Place your cursor where you want to create the outline in your Word document.<\/p>\n

Click on the “Home” tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n

Click on the “Multilevel List” button in the “Paragraph” section of the ribbon.<\/p>\n

Choose the outline format you want to use from the available options.<\/p>\n

Type the first item of your outline and then press “Enter” to move to the next item.<\/p>\n

Word will automatically format the outline based on the format you chose.<\/p>\n

To add sub-items to your outline, press the “Tab” key to indent the item and create a sub-item.<\/p>\n
