The common reasons for involuntary separation are downsizing and termination.&nbsp; Downsizing is a process of permanently reducing the number of employees to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company. A downsizing can be a result of merger or acquisition, revenue or market loss, technological and industrial changes and inaccurate labor demand forecasting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction&nbsp;Involuntary employee separation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employee Separation is one of the very important and crucial function \/ process of HR Department.
