It is one of the most frequently used modes and is essential for placing and organizing everything in your project. This guide will explain step-by-step how to use Select Editing Mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Understanding Select Editing Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This mode is used to select and manipulate Actors at your level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It allows you to move, rotate, and scale objects to position them correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also access an Actor\u2019s properties using this mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Activating Select Editing Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your Unreal Engine project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look at the <strong>Modes Toolbar<\/strong> at the top of the editor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Select<\/strong> button (it looks like an arrow).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alternatively, press the <strong>W<\/strong> key on your keyboard to quickly switch to this mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Selecting Actors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on an Actor in the <strong>Viewport<\/strong> to select it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The selected Actor will be highlighted, and a transform gizmo (arrows, circles, or boxes) will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: Using the Transform Gizmo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use the gizmo to adjust the Actor:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Move Tool<\/strong>: Click and drag the arrows to move the object.
