Security Levels for Tally.Net User<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create security controls for a Tally.NET User, execute the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to Gateway of Tally<\/strong> > Alt+F3 > security Control > Types of Security<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In theSecurity Levels<\/strong>for company screen, select Tally.NET User<\/strong>.<\/li>
  2. In theSecurity Levels for Tally.NET User<\/strong>screen.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    • By default,NET User<\/strong> appears in the Name of Security Level<\/strong> field.<\/li>
    • By default,Data Entry<\/strong> appears in the Use Basic Facilities of<\/strong> field, the system administrator can change this based on the requirement.<\/li>
    • Type0<\/strong> in Days allowed for Back Dated vouchers<\/li>
    • TheCut-off date for Back Dated Vouchers<\/strong> is left blank<\/li>
    • Allow toConnect Company<\/strong> is set to Yes<\/strong> if the system administrator wants the required security level to connect the company for remote access to Tally.NET Server.<\/li>
    • By default,Use Tally.NET Authentication<\/strong> is set to  The user classified under this security level can login remotely with Tally.NET User capabilities. However, the user having auditor\u2019s license will not be able to perform an audit using the Tally.NET User Authentication.<\/li>
    • By default,Use Tally.NET Auditor Authentication<\/strong> is set to<\/li>
    • InDisallow the following Facilities<\/strong><\/li>
    • Select the requiredAccess Control<\/strong> from the Type of Access<\/strong><\/li>
    • Select the requiredReport \/ Activity<\/strong> that you want to disallow based on the access control that from the List of Reports<\/strong><\/li>
    • InAllow the following Facilities<\/strong><\/li>
    • Select theEnd of List<\/strong> from the Type of Access<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      1. PressEnter<\/strong>to save the access controls for Tally.NET User.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Security Levels for Tally.Net Auditor<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To create security controls to Tally.NET Auditor, execute the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Go to Gateway of Tally<\/strong> > Alt+F3 > security Control > Types of Security<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Select Tally.NET Auditor in theTypes of Security<\/strong><\/li>
        2. TheSecurity Levels<\/strong>for company screen is displayed.<\/li>
        3. By default,Tally.NET Auditor<\/strong>appears in the Name of Security Level<\/strong> field.<\/li>
        4. By default,Owner<\/strong>appears in the Use Basic Facilities of<\/strong> field, the system administrator can change this based on the requirement.<\/li>
        5. Type0<\/strong>in Days allowed for Back Dated vouchers<\/li>
        6. TheCut-off date for Back Dated Vouchers<\/strong>is left blank.<\/li>
        7. SetYes<\/strong>to Allow to Connect Company<\/strong><\/li>
        8. By default,Use Tally.NET Authentication<\/strong>is set to No<\/strong><\/li>
        9. UseTally.NET Auditor Authentication<\/strong>is set to Yes<\/strong>, when the auditor wants to access the client\u2019s data and perform an audit. However, a user not having the auditor\u2019s license will not be able to perform an audit by setting Use Tally.NET Auditor Authentication to Yes.<\/li>
        10. InDisallow the following Facilities<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          • Select theEnd of List<\/strong> from the Type of Access<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            1. InAllow the following Facilities<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
              • SelectFull Access<\/strong> from the Type of Access<\/li>
              • SelectAudit Listings<\/strong> from the List of Reports<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
