Agile dashboard helps you to get a bird’s eye view of everything that is happening on a project. In other words, it helps you know where the moving parts are, what is getting done, etc.

Further,  agile dashboards provide you with a picture of a project that allows you to have a sense of what is happening in a way that is easy to understand, and effective.

Indicators

Burn up Charts: Firstly, this is an agile metric that explains information to team members, managers, and most importantly, project stakeholders. This section of the dashboard also helps to predict what still needs to come from a team. Moreover, this indicator is a great way to evaluate scopes as well as provide feedback to team members who may look to drag the team down.

Delivered Business Value:  Secondly, this is an estimation of your backlog which shows what value work has delivered. For example, you can compare June 2020 to June of 2019 to see the change in productivity and value.

Highlights: The highlight sections comprises of all the important information for the entire team. For example, what are the most relevant topics to talk about in a daily meeting? What do we focus on today?

Performance: On a dashboard, performance evaluates the team achievement using Velocity and Story Points.

Risks: Risk is one of those portions that allows team members to anticipate and plan for any issues that may pop up along the way.

Schedules: Schedule is a simple tool that shows time elapsed within the project. Moreover, it can break down individual member usage.

Status: Last but not the least, the status indicator is the most important component of an agile dashboard that assesses the status of a project in relation to different goals, risks, objectives, and other variables.
