CSS takes whole numbers and decimal numbers as values for properties. Whole numbers do not have a decimal value. And decimal numbers are used for increased precision. Numbers can start with a plus (+) or minus (-) sign to indicate the number being positive or negative. Some properties like font-size do not take negative values but the margin property allows negative values as
