Equal Remuneration Act, 1976

This equal remuneration Act, 1976 regulates the equal participation of women in the work field. The main target of this act is to keep an eye for the payment of equal remuneration to both men and women. The Act eliminates the discrimination against women workers while recruiting the workers for the work of similar nature. This includes all the conditions of the services subsequent to recruitment. Also, the provision of the Act extends to all categories of employment. Therefore the Act extends to whole of India.
